This is located on the junction of three oceans,ie 'Triveni Sangam'.The Ganesha shrine here was consecrated by Lord Indra himself.Lord Indra had molested the wife of Sage Gautamrishi,who had severly cursed Lord Indra for his ill act.In repentance Lord Indra established this shrine to safeguard himself from the curse and to apologise.
