The king Krutavirya had no issue.After praying Shree Ganesha his wife delivered a baby boy.Unfortunatelly the child was disabled and had no limbs.King Krutvirya was very much disappointed and extremely sad.

The king was a devotee of Shree Dattatreya(Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh).Shree Dattatreya came to know about his devotees problem and advised him to pray Shree Ganesha on Sankashti chaturthi.

As per the advise of Shree Dattatreya,the King started his meditation and the son Kartavirya also started his meditation with the mantra "Gananam twa".After the rigerous meditation for many years,Shree Ganesha was pleased and appeared there as a Praval(full of pearls)Ganesh.

Ganesha carassed the disabled boy, Kartavirya with blessings and reinstated his limbs.Kartavirya was overwhelmed by this and he established a Ganesha shrine by performing all the rituals.The idol is called Praval Ganesh.

SheshNaag had also prayed Ganesha and received the blessings that he will hold the earth on his head.So Shesha also established an idol of Ganesha near to this Praval Ganesh.

So there are two idols in this temple,one is right-trunked.This temple is on the mountai at Erandol,Jalgaon in Maharashtra.
