This shrine is about 1 mile away from the Chatushrungi hill,hence this locality is named as 'Ganeshkhind'.Parvati
Nandan means the son of Parvati ie Ganesha.
This idol has bright eyes,long
trunk,big stomach and comparitively small limbs.The height is 90cms.The
right hand is resting on the right knee and the other hand is on the right
shoulder.
In olden days the travellers used to take halt here to have thier
grub,hence it is also called as 'Thalpitya Ganapati'.
