Apsara is the most beatiful,charming and supernatural celestial female being in the Heaven,among the Devlok(Gods) and Rambha is the queen of all Apsaras.

Rambha is super talented and symbol of a ideal mismerising dancer.She is also expert in music and love-making.Apsaras entertain the demi-gods by their magical singing and dancing.

The king of gods,Indra requested her many times times to seduce the sages and break their meditation,so as to test their purity.Accordingly,Rambha was successful in breaking the concentration of Rishi Vishwamitra,who then cursed her to become a rock for ten thousand years.

Some texts say that there are 108 Apsara's in all where as other say that there are 1008 in all.However names of the 51 Apsaras are mentioned below in alphabetical order-

Apsara Sadhana

'Sadhana' is a "disciplined spiritual practice".In Apsara sadhna we need Apsara Rosary,Perfume, Jaismine flowers garland or Two Roses,some sweets and Apsara Yantra,

Yantra is meant a process of writing numericals on a paper, bhojpatra, metal, ashtadhatu, stone or gold.There are many different types of yantra, for example numerical,syllabical and diagrammatic.

The sadhana may be started in the night from any Friday after taking bath,wearing pitambar(yellow dhotee) or yellow clothes, applying the Tilak on Apsara Yantra and puting some Perfume on the Yantra.Light five lamps in ghee.

Now take the Apsara Rosary in your hand and chant the following Mantra daily 101X108=10108 times,for eighty days.

After such sadhana is done the Apsara will be pleased and will come in beautiful form in the night.Wear the garland around her neck and offer her the sweets. In return,she will gift you some of her wearings.Request her to come,whenever you will remember her.
