Information
An eclipse occurs when the orbits of the Sun and the Moon align together in such a way that the shadow of the object falls on the other. Solar eclipse is a stage in the Sun's cycle (solar cycle), where the Moon reaches between the Sun and the Earth. At the moment of solar eclipse the Sun is either partially or completely covered or darkened. Usually, solar eclipse occurs on Amavasya day.An eclipse occurs twice or thrice every year but the position of Sun and Moon in the zodiac is different every time.Eclipse is a very interesting event for astronomers and astrologers. Significant predictions are made,at the time of eclips, by the placement of the planets in the signs of the zodiac. The duration of the eclipse and the location of the eclipse is also different. Solar Eclipse affects Human, animals and plants due to the X-rays radiated during the grahan, called Cosmic radiation. It has been experienced that Onion and Sorghum plants were affected by the Eclipse.Sea animals are also affected with the rays during Grahan. Grahan shows some effects on pregnancy. It is observed in research on some pregnant rats that pregnancy is affected with the radioactive rays during the time of Total Solar Eclipse. It is found that some of the rats delivered small-sized babies, some other affected rats had undergone abortion and some other rats delivered disabled and abnormal babies, due to Grahan. Some affected rats delivered baby rats which have ruptured bone marrow. By looking at the eclipsed sun with naked eyes, one can spoil the eye sight due to the cosmic radiations. So the eclipse can be seen with special films, goggles and binoculars available during the grahan period.
