Shri. Ganesha is an universal deity and is worshipped all over
the world from Morgaon to Mexico.Many trade people used to carry Ganesha Idol
with them to safegaurd them from all the obstacles,while their business tour out
of India.
Also the foreigners who visited India and experienced the
grace of Lord Ganesh, carried the idol of Ganesha with them to their
country.Hence,Shri. Ganesh Temples are existing everywhere on the earth.The
forms of Shri. Ganesha and the significance are different at every place.
As per an old referance from China,a Brahmin by name 'Bhumitra'
had travelled in the 5th decade,from Bharatkhand to Tibet,Japan, China,North
America and Mexico.
